INFINITI QX80 Reimagined with QX80 Track Spec and Terrain Spec Showcasing SUV Potential

The INFINITI QX80 is one of the highest-rated large SUVs on the market. Two new QX80 concept models were recently revealed at The Quail during Monterey Car Week: QX80 Track Spec and QX80 Terrain Spec. While the exhilarating QX80 Track Spec is designed to captivate performance enthusiasts, the ultra-rugged QX80 Terrain Spec is engineered to offer enhanced off-road capabilities. Although these prototypes are not yet scheduled for production, they showcase the SUV’s potential.
QX80 Track Spec
Underneath the QX80 Track Spec sits a revised 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6 engine. A new turbo system and an upgraded performance exhaust help substantially increase power. INFINITI estimates a total output exceeding 650 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can look forward to experiencing especially scorching acceleration. Meanwhile, a track-tuned chassis bolsters the SUV’s handling capabilities. Large Brembo brakes are included as well.
The QX80 Track Spec definitely has an aggressive appearance. Its racy rear diffuser with quad exhaust outlets makes a serious statement. A matte black-blue wrap adds a touch of flair. To promote an especially sporty stance, INFINITI outfits the Track Spec concept with exclusive 24-inch wheels.
QX80 Terrain Spec
If you prefer an outdoor lifestyle, the QX80 Terrain Spec is bound to get your attention. It comes ready to take you on an epic off-road adventure. Off-road wheels with all-terrain tires and an elevated ride height help the SUV to tackle tough trails confidently. With the concept’s Invisible Hood View technology, drivers can better spot any obstacles that lie ahead. While the QX80 Terrain Spec is built on a rugged chassis, it still allows you to travel in complete comfort.
The QX80 Terrain Spec is a rugged off-road performer. You’ll immediately notice its durable fender flares and rooftop lightbar. A side-exit exhaust adds more muscle. Yet another exciting visual touch is the Terrain Spec concept’s satin dark basalt vinyl wrap. If you decide to go camping, you can take full advantage of the vehicle’s pop-up tent.
