The INFINITI brand has recently announced some changes to its executive team aimed at helping the company grow in the United States. Although the company is headquartered in Japan, it has a presence in North America and other major hubs throughout the world.

How Will the Shakeup Impact Consumers?

Ideally, the shakeup will enable customers to see the brand as one that delivers quality products at an affordable price. Specifically, Brian Maragno is set to become the new Chief Marketing Manager (CMM) for INFINITI USA, and his job will be to oversee the development of multiple new products over the next four years. He will also be responsible for ensuring the endured strength of existing vehicles and other products that the brand produces and sells.

Tony Gardina will become the new director of Marketing Operations & Strategy for INFINITI Americas. His job will be to find ways to increase sales volume throughout the United States and beyond, and he will work with Nissan to help make that happen.

How Does the Shakeup Impact INFINITI?

The goal is to help the company become more profitable and increase its market share outside of Japan. What was once a thriving business has lost ground to foreign and domestic brands like Hyundai, Ford, and others over the past several years.

Eric Ledieu has been assigned the role of director of INFINITI Sales & Regional Operations in the USA. Under his watch, the company aims to coordinate the company’s fleet of existing vehicles and align the company’s sales goals in the United States with those in other regions.

Taking a more streamlined approach to sales will help the company save money while becoming more agile. Ultimately, this can make it easier to provide vehicles consumers want at lower prices since there will be less overhead to account for.
