2020 QX60 vs Pilot: Engine Power & Performance

The INFINITI QX60 and Honda Pilot each come equipped with 3.5-liter V6 engines. The QX60 comes paired with the Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission, which provides smooth and direct gear transitions while improving the efficiency. The Pilot comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of performance, these vehicles showcase very close outputs. However, the INFINITI QX60 leads the charge with 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The Pilot, on the other hand, comes close, but falls behind with 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.

INFINITI QX60 vs Honda Pilot: Entertainment & Technology Features

Each SUV includes some sophisticated features within their cabins. The 2020 QX60 includes the INFINITI InTouch™ 8-inch color display, while the 2020 Honda Pilot features the 5-inch LCD screen. Both vehicles include radios, USB and auxiliary inputs, and Bluetooth® connectivity for hands-free phone use as well as audio streaming.

However, the QX60 adds several additional amenities, such as voice recognition, a CD player, and three months of SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, which adds more than 150 stations to the listening options. The Pilot does offer a SiriusXM® trial, but only after a few upgrades.

Driver-Assistance Technology Features

The QX60 and Pilot each come with respective sets of driver-assisting technology features that are designed to mitigate or reduce the severity of impact by using exterior-mounted sensors to measure the rate of approach and proximity to objects.

The 2020 INFINITI QX60 includes the Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, while the Pilot includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ and Forward Collision Warning, which are systems that detect a possible collision and use selective braking to give the driver time to react and stop the vehicle.

While each vehicle offers some helpful pre-collision systems to assist in avoiding a crash, the QX60 has an additional feature up its sleeve. The Blind Spot Warning, which comes standard, assists the driver in avoiding any sideswipes by sending an alert indicating a vehicle approaching in the blind spot. This feature is available with the Pilot, but it requires a full trim level upgrade.
