2016 INFINITI QX60: Safety Features
Safety features are more than just airbags and brakes. There are a wide variety of different equipped and active safety features that can help you avoid an unwanted collision. The 2016 INFINITI QX60 is equipped with a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system that features Vehicle Dynamics and Control. This feature will sense wheel slippage and activate to help keep your vehicle on track. This system will reduce engine power while applying brake pressure to the wheels with the least amount of traction to guide the INFINITI QX60 back towards its intended path.
The INFINITI QX60 also offers the optional Backup Collision Intervention. This system, working with the rearview camera, will sense objects in your vehicle’s rear path. When an object wanders into your path, while in reverse, this system will apply pressure to the brakes to help you avoid a rear collision.
This midsize SUV is also equipped with an advanced airbag system. The front airbags feature sensors that’ll measure the severity of impact and inflate the airbags accordingly. Other airbags in this system are seat mounted side airbags, and side curtain airbags for all rows.
